At this point I think living in Santa Barbara means it’s required to always have a light jacket in the car (because sunny mornings can turn into breezy beach evenings real quick). 😅

I never really realized how weird some of our “normal” habits were until I left the state and had to explain them to someone who had absolutely no idea what I was talking about.

And honestly, those little things are half the reason I love living here.

What an amazing event! Alpha Resource Center serves so many people in our community, providing incredible programs and opportunities that enrich lives. We were so honored to be invited by Tyler Speier and to experience it firsthand.

Their campus is truly awe-inspiring—it feels like a sanctuary where their students can learn, grow, and thrive. I’m so happy we had the opportunity to attend, learn more about this incredible organization, and see the impact they’re making in our community.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s event and continuing to support Alpha Resource Center!

If you live in Santa Barbara, you already know some of the best investments make absolutely no sense until you’ve lived here. 😂

There’s a certain point where paying for the good parking downtown, planning your entire day around Hwy 101 traffic and summer beach crowds, and having a strong opinion about whether Mesa or the Riviera is the best vibe just becomes part of being a local.

The longer you live here, the more these things stop feeling ridiculous and start feeling completely necessary.
