I’m still trying to put into words just how incredible my birthday was.

To all of my beautiful friends who came to celebrate with me — thank you. The gifts were amazing and so thoughtful, but what meant the most to me was simply having so many people I care about together in one place. I felt an amount of love that night that honestly went beyond anything I could have imagined. My heart was very, very full.

And this wasn’t just a party put together by strangers…it was put together by friends. Carly and Tom, thank you for the incredible food. Ciela, for keeping everyone very well taken care of behind the bar. Stephanie, for jumping in and helping with everything. And most of all, my beautiful wife Margaret, who did so much to make the entire night happen. You all made it the best birthday party I’ve ever had.

And then there was M.A.D Town! Manny and Donna Lu, you guys were incredible, as always. Having my favorite band playing in my own backyard, watching everyone dancing and loving you as much as I do, made the night that much more special.

There are moments in life when you get to look around and really see how fortunate you are by the people who surround you. This was one of those moments for me.

I felt loved. Truly, deeply loved. And I’ll never forget it.

Thank you to every single person who was part of such an unforgettable night. ❤️
