The “Laguna District” is one of those areas in Santa Barbara that feels a little more local, a little more relaxed. Just east of downtown — close to everything, but without the same pace. ✨
The Laguna District has become a hub for home design and interiors, with a strong concentration of showrooms, trade vendors, and design-forward businesses that regularly attract architects, contractors, and designers. 💛
It’s not a traditional shopping district, but if you’re building or renovating on the South Coast, you’re likely spending time and money here. Mix that with independent businesses, some true gems of the food & beverage world- including of course - the smashburger, an SB staple for good reason at the beautiful and , one of our favorites. 🍔🛍️
From a commercial standpoint it’s a very interesting pocket. Rents have stayed more reasonable and the businesses that land there tend to stay. Low turnover, low vacancy, functional space, close to downtown and a go-to for locals. ⚡️
