You always hear 👂 the terms pre-approval and pre-qualification, but do you know what the difference is?

Here’s what they actually mean 💡

A pre-qualification involves submitting some basic financial information 📝 to a mortgage lender and getting your credit checked ✔️ to get a general idea of whether you are qualified to get a mortgage, 🏡 how much you could borrow, 🏦 and the interest rate.

The pre-approval process is a deeper dive into your financial situation where a lender will require more documentation 💸 of the financial details you provide as well as a formal loan application. Preapprovals hold more weight and are more useful when trying to buy a home. 🏡

2. Replace hardware with gold including fixtures, and other accessories (faucets, curtain hooks, cabinet pulls and k***s). 🤩

3. Add gold picture frames and gold-framed mirrors to your walls. 🙌

4. Pair a neutral lampshade with a gold base to give any corner of your home a brilliant new style. 🔥

5. Add gold candles 🕯️to center tables or end tables in the living room and watch a little shine ✨ go a long way.

And what better way to begin January than by following home maintenance👩‍🔧tips for your home? Here’s a home 🏡 maintenance to-do list 📝 you can do this month 📅 to keep your home 🏡 in its best condition!

Organize your closet. Clear out any clutter 🙌 and start sorting your closet. Separate cold-weather clothing ☔️ and accessories that you need right now and store your summer 👗 clothing in labeled boxes.

Give your plants 🪴 some TLC. The cold 🥶 and dry weather might make your plants 🌱 look sad and wilted, add humidity to the air by using a humidifier or by spraying them with water 💦 occasionally.

Clean out your kitchen 🍽️ pantry. All the holiday cooking 🧑‍🍳 can turn your pantry into a mess! Start over by taking everything out, tossing out stale and expired food, and wiping 🧼 your pantry shelves before putting everything back.

Store your holiday Christmas 🎄 decorations well. Once you’re mustered the energy to take down all your holiday 🎁 decorations, make sure to take time to handle them with care.
