Fall’s arrived! 🍂

September’s almost gone, and it’s actually beginning to feel like Fall. Maybe it’s a fake-out… is there one more hot blast coming?

Regardless, my latest addition to the honey-do list was getting the Fall & Halloween boxes down today. 🎃

We even had a conversation about Thanksgiving plans. Wow… 2026 is almost in the books.

The Santa Clarita market is giving buyers a little more breathing room. 🏡📊

Inventory is up, buyer activity has slowed, and we're now at 4.61 months of housing supply. Prices remain generally stable, but sellers are having to be more strategic with pricing and buyer incentives.

The market is moving, just not all in one direction.

And as I always say, the better question isn't, “Is this the perfect time?”

It's “Are you living where you want to be living?”

The Santa Clarita market is showing some interesting movement. 🏡📊

New listings and inventory are up, while buyer activity has slowed a bit. At the same time, 77% of recent sales closed at or above asking price, showing that well-positioned homes are still getting strong results.

The market is stable, but there’s plenty happening beneath the surface.

And as I always say, don’t wait for the “perfect” time. The better question is: Are you living where you want to be living?

What's your geek-out?  I have a few.  Star Trek and Star Wars of course, also a bit of the train bug.  But my biggest is probably planes.  Specifically military, WW1 & WW2, plus the modern jets.

The nice thing about being a plane Geek is I can go to see these actual planes fly.  You can't say that about the Millenium Falcon or the Starship Enterprise.  These historic planes are real and seeing them plus knowing their history is often chilling. 

So today I had a dilemma.  It was B-17 day at the Planes of Fame air museum in Chino.  Of course I had to go.  One of only 3 remaining flying B-17's was doing a taxi & flyby, and they were even offering rides on the B-17.  So my dilemma, drop $600+ for a 30 minute experience flying in the belly of a legendary plane, or just watch it taxi & fly by?

I'll probably kick myself, but I wussed out.  Plus, Sandy wasn't with me this time and I would want her to be there.  I still have a few days before the plane heads to another part of the country, maybe I'll change my mind...
