It took six months of negotiations with the Santa Cruz County Land Trust and a lot of miracles along the way. Yesterday we were honored to hand the keys over to a group of Mexican American and Native American farmers who intend to preserve the acreage for local and sustainable farming - providing food and housing for our community and generations to come.
