But home is also your favorite coffee shop down the street. The familiar drive you take every day. The neighbors you wave to. The restaurants you keep going back to. The views that still make you stop and look.😍

If you’re visiting Santa Fe in October, my best advice is not to try to fit too much into your schedule.🗓️🍂

Bring layers, take the scenic route, eat plenty of New Mexican food, wander beyond the places you already planned to see, and leave yourself a little time to simply enjoy being here.😊

October is one of my favorite times of year in Northern New Mexico, and Santa Fe has a way of being especially beautiful this time of year.🍁 And fair warning, you may leave wondering what it would be like to call this place home.😏

There’s something about a rainy day that makes home feel a little different.☺️🌧️

Maybe it’s hearing the rain outside while you’re warm inside. Maybe it’s having nowhere you need to be for a little while. Or maybe it’s simply appreciating the familiar place you get to come back to at the end of the day.🏡

I finally made it up to see the aspens this weekend, and they did not disappoint!😍🍂✨

Every fall, I look forward to seeing the mountains turn gold. No matter how many times I’ve made the drive, it’s always worth another trip.👌🏼

A little New Mexico getaway and a very special birthday celebration.✨🪻

is one of those places that makes you want to slow down and enjoy where you are. The beautiful grounds, the food, the architecture, and all of the thoughtful little details make it such a special place to spend a few days.

Owen and I had such a wonderful time celebrating, and I’m already looking forward to another visit.
One of the many places that reminds me just how much there is to enjoy right here in New Mexico.
