Good morning Facebook,
Just wanted to share that it is important who your representation is not only with your agent but with your lender when purchasing a home . Many times, buyers choose some online person that does not have a local office and when we run into problems during the transaction, they are no longer picking up their phones and there is no local office to track them down at. For first time buyers I always recommend a face-to-face appointment. When purchasing a home there is a lot of important information that should be shared with you and getting educated should be important to you. I personally prefer a local lender whom I've have had the experience of working with. This way I know that lender has did all the work in assisting my clients in bettering their credit scores, informing them of payment & rate options and that we are very likely to successfully close escrow with no hiccups. When you as a buyer decide to submit an offer, you are fully informed and know what you're getting yourself into. When submitting offers many times the listing agent like to see a local reputable lender behind the approval letter. That gives them the warm fuzzy feeling that this is a solid deal and therefore report that to the sellers when reviewing your offer. So, who you work with does matter.
