Answered a question for somebody on , got the attention of a couple moving from the East Coast to the BEST COAST. Now that couple landed one of the coolest finds I have worked with condo-wise. Flooded with sunlight, 30 foot ceilings, beautiful kitchen, fireplace, rooftop with panoramic views of the Hollywood Hills, this 3 bed & 3 bath front facing unit is a true gem. 1,000 days ago, I joined Nourmand & Associates Beverly Hills. The date was Thursday, September 19, 2019; the housing market seemed nothing out of the ordinary. Licensed just a month before, I came with a handful of references/referrals, and prior property management/sales experience. At the time I was closing out my first decade in LA and felt I understood the city enough for the job. Little did I know, within six months, everything I thought I knew would be warped into a different reality.

In February 2020, before I knew the difference between a PCR and Rapid test, I closed my first deal with the brokerage, a lease in West Hollywood with a client I literally picked up as an Uber driver (side gig I was surviving off of as a new agent); the passenger/client conveniently traveling in-between the Beverly Hills office and the Hollywood office, where I was going to attend a training meeting.

Suddenly the world changed, clients I gained left me for more experienced agents as the shutdowns grew, new clients were harder to land with social events canceled, the markets became super wonky. My prior half-year was a wash, the reset button had been firmly pressed down.

Nourmand & Associates made sure their agents were feeling secure during shaky times. As the pandemic unfolded, the brokerage was there for all their agents; explaining new rules/restrictions, helping understand new government programs enacted to help ease the covid driven economic hardships.

Starting from scratch again, it became how evident past relationships were for future success. I learned the hard way friends/family who I thought would be there to help me navigate choppy waters went to others for their business/referrals. Still though, Nourmand & Associates was present to help keep goals in place and encourage me to hold my head high.

New deals started to trickle in, first leases, then referral sales around the globe, then in 2021 my first sale finally happened. Since then, I feel my business has finally established a solid foundation to launch from. I am forever thankful and appreciate all the help I've had from those who believed in me, especially Nourmand & Associates these first 1,000 days. 🙏🏼
