Recently renovated and reopened, the Union Station Hotel, is a Historical gem here in Downtown Nashville. My guess? We will be seeing more of this beautiful space as Nashville Yards and Amazon HQ opens up next door.

I get asked almost daily about if I miss Destin, or especially working on the beach.

The answer? ABSOLUTELY. How could I not??

When I managed 3/4 of a mile on the most beautiful stretch of beach in Destin, Florida, I was surrounded by people that were less co-workers, and more like best friends.

But it was also around this time that I had to make difficult decisions with my future. Could I do this forever, and if I do, will I be secure financially, emotionally, physically or in my relationships?

No, I couldn’t.

I began to plan, study, and read. I leaned on a small group of reliable mentors to guide me on my path out.

Fast forward three years, and a thousand setbacks and I cannot believe how far I’ve come.

The more incredible thing is that I am not the only one to do it. I am blown away with the successes of friends from my past, where they have come from and where they are headed.

I can admit that I can get down on myself and not see the forest for the trees and not realize where I’ve came from, but yesterday I can’t even express the outpouring of support I received from friends and family as they have celebrated my successes.

It means everything to me. YOU mean everything to me. I love talking to you guys.
