FLORIDA INSURANCE RATES ARE DROPPING!

Florida homeowners are finally seeing insurance rates move in the right direction. Statewide averages are declining in early 2026, with multiple private carriers filing rate reductions and Citizens policies decreasing around 8% to 10% as more companies re-enter the market and litigation continues to fall.

Here in Northwest Florida and along the Emerald Coast, renewals are stabilizing and confidence is building. At the same time, mortgage interest rates have recently come down from their highs, inventory is improving across Northwest Florida, and buyer activity along the Emerald Coast is picking up. There are also serious conversations in Tallahassee about the potential removal of property taxes later in 2026.
