If only everyone in our country could be patriotic, be kind to their neighbor and quit being crooked. The fraud that has come to our attention totaly disgusts me. Polilticians, doctors, nurses, people from other countries who have taken advantage of all of Americans. To think I have paid taxes for 60 years and my contribution has been wasted in so many ways, makes me glad my father is not here to see this.

This sounds perfect for 4th of July. Ingredients: 1 cup butter, 3 cups sugar, 6 eggs seperated, 1/4 tsp. of baking soda, 3 cups sifted flour, 1/2 pint of sour cream.
Instructions: 1. Cream butter and sugar. 2. add egg yolks one at a time. 3. add baking soda to flour. 4. alternately add flour mixture ad sour cream to the creamed mixture. beat egg whites until stiff and fold into batter. 6, Bake in a large tube pan, greased and floured at 300 degrees for 1.5 hours. 7. Cake should have a nice brown crust on top. 8. Let stand 15 minutes before removing from pan.
Serve with summer berries and whipped cream for a festive 4th of July desert. See less
