Who We Are

Martelle Homes was born from the heart and vision of founder D. Shantelle Hernandez. Dreaming and drawing house plans on a sketch pad is where it started. Growing up in a family of homebuilders, Shantelle was infected with the itch to build homes. She always dreamed of starting her own home building company. With an amazing eye for design that fits the lifestyle of her customers, she pays attention to the small joys as well as the obvious needs: well-appointed kitchens and properly scaled rooms, but also laundry rooms, mud rooms, and good closet space. She is always driven and expects the best. In 2016, an opportunity to design and build customers dream homes was presented and so with the help, leadership and 35 years experience of her father, Martelle Homes was born.

What We Do

At Martelle Homes, our goal is to build our customers dream beach home with focused attention to their needs and desires to fit their budget. We build semi-custom homes with cost control, uncompromised quality construction and standard upgrade finish details. We help our customers navigate through the financing, lot selection, plan selection and interior home selections to deliver a product that our customers expect. We understand the importance and patience of “building your home on paper” before building it on site. We keep our customers involved throughout the planning process as well as scheduled walks of our sites with our customers periodically throughout the construction stages.
