Some of my beach loving friends might be wondering what the heck is going on on 30A. There have been different things being spread on social media. I’m not going to speak to the whole issue of public vs private beach because that just makes my blood pressure shoot up. What I do want to let you know is that the beach access & beach that services Bluebonnet by the Beach remains public. We are fortunate in that “our” beach is county owned and the access only serves foot traffic as there is no parking for cars or golf carts. So, if you’re considering coming down to 30A, we would love to host you. You can expect an easy walk or bike ride down to the Spooky Ln access where you are welcome to sit and play on that beautiful white sand and crystal clear water we are known for. South Walton has over 50 beach and bay access locations along its 26 miles of shoreline. Finding your perfect beach is easy when you have so many choices.

Shunk Gulley, Gulf Place, The Growler Garage, and Papa Surf Burgers are just a quick bike ride or short stroll away. The beach access is an easy 5 minute walk.
