♻️ WALTON COUNTY LANDFILL REOPENING & GARBAGE COLLECTION RESUMPTION ♻️
📢 Good news, Walton County! The Walton County Landfill will reopen tomorrow, Monday, October 12, 2026, and Waste Management will resume residential and commercial garbage collection.
🗑️ Here’s what you need to know:
✅ Regular collection schedules resume. Garbage will be collected on your regularly scheduled collection day.
✅ Trash must be inside your cart. Please ensure all garbage is placed completely inside your garbage cart. Items left on the ground will not be collected.
🌳 Storm debris will be collected separately. Storm-generated debris will be picked up in the coming days, separate from your regular garbage collection.
⚠️ Safety and accessibility: Waste Management may be unable to service areas that are inaccessible due to low-hanging cables, power lines, downed trees, or utility vehicles and crews temporarily blocking roadways.
We appreciate your continued patience and understanding as crews work hard to restore normal services following the storm. Thank you for your cooperation as we work toward getting everything back to normal as quickly as possible!
