One of my favorite parts of being a Realtor is that no two buyers have the same story.
This buyer wasn’t ready to buy when we first met.
Actually… that’s exactly why we met.
He got pre-approved months before he planned on purchasing so he could watch the market, learn what his budget actually looked like, and be ready when the right house came along. There was no pressure to buy right away—we just made a plan.
Once he found the one, the strategy was the name of the game.
He was renting and his lease had a very specific timeline, so his lender and I worked together to time everything just right. The goal was simple: avoid paying rent and a mortgage at the same time.
We also got creative with financing. He used part of his 401(k) toward his down payment, and we negotiated a seller credit to help offset some of his closing costs.
Buying a home isn’t about having the perfect finances or knowing all the answers. It’s about having the right team to help you figure out what makes the most sense for your situation.
Congratulations on your first home, Sir! Thank you for trusting me through the process. I can’t wait to see what memories you make there.
If you’ve been thinking about buying a home but keep telling yourself, “I’m not ready yet,” let’s talk anyway.
Sometimes the smartest thing you can do isn’t buying a house…
It’s making a plan so you’re ready when the right one comes along. 🏡
