Happy Belated Labor Day !

One of the unexpected pleasures of traveling is discovering places you might otherwise never see.

During my recent visit to Cheyenne, Wyoming, I stopped by the local Coldwell Banker office and had a nice conversation with a Realtor who shared some thoughts about the local market and a few neighborhoods worth exploring.

I eagerly took her suggestion and went for a drive.

One of the areas I discovered was Bar X Ranch, including Doubletree Lane. I was struck by the spacious homes, larger lots, quiet surroundings and beautiful views. All of which, I truly enjoyed taking it all in and thought about the possibilities Cheyenne has to offer on a variety of levels.

Real Estate wise - homes in the Bar X area can be found in the $700K range.. And yet, homebuyers may also welcome looking for their first home in the $450k range.

With the above, I found myself reflecting on the many different definitions there are of “home” — a place to settle, a second home, a retirement destination, or simply somewhere that offers a different pace of life.

Sometimes you don't have to be looking for anything in particular. It's just fun to look. 🏡 And I have to admit… I truly enjoyed having a little real-estate curiosity follow me around Cheyenne and happy to share the beauty I found below - what do you think of the home shown below?
