A room full of local dads, a pint of b**r, and a crash course in ponytails and braids. Acorn Café hosted a hair tutorial night just for dads. Two stylists walked us through the basics, and we practiced together (and fumbled plenty). I thought I had the ponytail down. I did not. It was a great way to meet other dads and pick up a skill my daughter will appreciate.

$60 got you a pint, a burger or cheesy chicken sandwich, hair accessories, and the lesson. Keep an eye on their page if you want to catch the next one.
