Each time you wonder if you it's time to sell you should run the scenario through. In my past I have bought and sold several houses and each time we had to do the numbers on paper. At the end of the exercise the answer will be there for you. If now isn't the time then at least you know for sure.

The question I hear most these days is: "When is the best time to sell?" especially now since my home town of Sonoma County has been so damaged by the fires. Spring? Summer? Right now after fires? Values go do? Rates go down? Values go up? When I retire?

Where ever your are, the questions are the same. There are several different ways to consider this answer and all of the ideas below help you to figure it out.

#1 You should get a Market Analysis done by a licensed agent to determine what your house might sell for. No good decision making can be done until you know approximately what you might walk away with. I'm happy to help you with this!
#2 Will you have enough left from the sale to do what your next step is? (buy a new home, etc...)
#3 If you aren't sure what your next step is then we need to figure out WHY you are considering this. Once we know WHY then it is easier to determine if there is another or better solution than selling.
#4 Will you need a mortgage loan to purchase the next property? How much will you qualify for?
#5 Message me today to get started on the plan. Selling may not happen now but learning when and if you should sell can be done NOW. Please consider me a source of help during this process.
