For those that are moving and packing a friend has a lot of great ideas
My best packing tools are shrink wrap, packing tape, and permanent markers! You have to pack all the wash rags and towels anyway, use them to pad your glass/breakables, shrink wrap them if you need to. Shrink wrap you knife blocks so the knives don't fall out. Get a 5 gallon bucket with a lid and put all your round plates in it alternating between a plate and wash rag then plate again etc. Then label it kitchen with the marker. If you have hanging clothes but black trash bags over them. First you poke a hole at the bottom of the bag and slide the hangers through the hole. Then cinch the bottom to keep them all in! The 5 doz egg boxes are perfect for canned goods. They're not too heavy then. When labeling boxes, label 2 sides and the top that way when they're stacked you have a better chance to know where it goes and what's in it quickly. When labeling I do put a good portion of the items in it on the box. That way I can quickly find stuff. Wrap tvs in blankets and then use shrink wrap to wrap them up. Pack your sheets/blankets for your bed and put them in the vehicle up front so you know where they're going to be. Put all hardware for the beds in a ziploc bag up in the front of the vehicle too!
If I think of more I will pass it on, but those are the highlights.
Thanks Stephanie Payton Easter these are awesome ideas!!
