We talked about moving to Florida for 12 years before we finally did it.

For years, we went back and forth between the Jacksonville area and other parts of Florida, trying to figure out where we wanted to be. Then in 2019, I came to Sarasota on a girls trip.

Eight months later, we were living here.

Looking back, it was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.

We truly feel like we live in paradise. From the beautiful weather and beaches to the lifestyle, boating, restaurants, and amazing communities, this area has exceeded every expectation we had.

If you’re trying to decide where to move in Florida, my advice is simple: take a trip. Explore the different areas, drive the neighborhoods, visit the restaurants, sit by the water, and see how each place feels.
