When you wake up and it’s raining outside, it can feel like the whole day is already lost.

The clouds are heavy, the world seems gray, and all the plans you were excited about suddenly feel out of reach. But life has a funny way of reminding us that first impressions aren’t always the final chapter.

Just because the morning starts in the storm doesn’t mean the clouds will stay forever. Sometimes all it takes is a little patience. A little faith. A little willingness to wait for the sun to break through. And when it does, the world looks different. The sky opens up, the air feels fresh, and before you know it, you’re out making memories with your best buddies, chasing adventures, sharing laughs, and living in the moments you almost thought you’d miss.

Today’s reminder: Don’t let a rough beginning convince you that the whole day is ruined. Some of life’s best moments are waiting on the other side of the storm.
The rain may write the first page, but it doesn’t get to write the ending.

At just 9 weeks old, Corrie is already blowing us away! Not only is he confidently strutting around with the pack like he’s been doing it forever, but he’s also mastering the basics of training.

This little superstar is already learning sit and stay, and he’s picking them up like a true professional. His focus, confidence, and eagerness to learn make every training session so much fun!

It’s crazy to think there are only a few days left.

Spaces are being cleared, routines tweaked, little things adjusted here and there to make sure everything is just right when he finally gets here. It’s not just about getting ready it’s about making it his too.

And the dogs? They already know. They’ve all spent time together, and the bond is already forming in the best way. Cooper and Cody especially have stepped into their roles without hesitation. They’re already acting like the best big brothers you could ever ask for watchful, patient, and protective in that calm, natural way that doesn’t need to be taught.

It’s kind of amazing to see, considering Corey isn’t even officially home yet. But somehow, it already feels like he belongs.

And somehow, in such a short amount of time, these two have given me more loyalty, love, protection, and purpose than most ever have. Watching them grow, learn, protect, and stand by my side every single day is something I’ll never take for granted. They’re still babies… but already legends to me.

One day, I know I’ll have to say goodbye and that thought alone reminds me to soak up every moment, every walk, every look, every day, every moment.🐾❤️
