Waterfront homes are stunning, truly a lifestyle. And as with everything, there are some pros and cons to waterfront living. (And in my personal opinion the pros outweigh the cons) BUT I (Toni) wouldn’t be able to handle life if I didn’t personally make a pros/cons list for all big decisions, so I wanted to share 1/2 the list… the cons. Now, “Red Flag” sounds a tad harsh, I get it… but imagine being a NEW waterfront home buyer and not knowing these important facts. That would be terrible as some of these will cost you big.

I consider myself a Realist (no, not half empty pessimist like some might think… more like, “think through all the variables and leave nothing to chance” kind of person lol) so in true Realist fashion, let’s start with the Cons- the Red Flags if you will.

HANDS DOWN, the most popular question a Realtor gets is, "how's The Market?" Real Estate is hyper local, so I'm grateful to say the Sarasota/Siesta Key Market is STRONG. Now, we are also realistic, so lets include it's strong AND it's slow(er). Though our last listing sold in 14 days... so there's that. But here's the great thing- buyers and sellers are serious in this market. When you list your home, if someone comes through- it's because they are seriously looking to buyyyy. If you're a buyer, there are no games, it's a direct market. You're not wasting time AND it's not a piranha frenzy anymore.

So how's the Sarasota Market you might ask? Strong and intentional. That's a GREAT market if you ask me 😏

Let me tell you about The Dale’s! Two POWERHOUSE Entrepreneurs who are not only crazy successful (check out Macro Millionaire) but incredibly down to earth (myyyyy people 😎)!
