**RAMS DOMINANCE: Brester, Morales, and Kopf Selected for 2026 All-Star Classic**

**SARASOTA, FL** — In the world of high school athletics, there are programs that compete, and then there are those that set the standard. For **Riverview High School**, the 2025-26 season has been a masterclass in the latter.

Today, the Sarasota County girls' basketball landscape celebrates a triple-threat of talent from the Rams’ roster. Senior standout **Jadyn Brester** will be joined by teammates **Gabi Morales** and **Madie Kopf** as they take the court for the final time in the **2026 Manatee vs. Sarasota All-Star Classic** on Tuesday, March 24th.

**A Trio of Excellence**
The selection of Brester, Morales, and Kopf serves as a powerful testament to the depth and chemistry of the Riverview program. While each brings a unique skill set to the hardwood, they share a common bond: a relentless work ethic and a commitment to the Rams' "all-out" culture.

“Having three of our girls selected for the All-Star roster is a proud moment for this school,” a Riverview athletic representative noted. “Jadyn, Gabi, and Madie have been the heartbeat of this team. They push each other in practice, lead by example in the halls, and their selection is a direct result of the hours they’ve put in when the stands were empty.”

**The Brester Factor: Scholar-Athlete Supreme**
Leading the charge is **Jadyn Brester**, whose storied four-year varsity tenure has redefined the term "student-athlete." A standout in the elite **International Baccalaureate (IB) program**, Brester maintained a staggering **4.70 GPA** while earning rare "double-crown" **Herald-Tribune Athlete of the Week** honors in both Volleyball and Basketball this year.

As a **Lees-McRae Volleyball commit**, Brester’s future lies in the mountains of North Carolina, but she is quick to share the spotlight with her fellow seniors. “Being selected is an honor, but being able to share the court one last time with Gabi and Madie makes it special. We’ve been through it all together.”

**Mentorship and the Next Generation**
The impact of this trio extends far beyond the scoreboard. Together, Brester, Morales, and Kopf have become the "North Stars" for younger girls in the Sarasota basketball and volleyball communities. They have shown the next generation that with deep-rooted **family values**, academic discipline, and a refuse-to-quit attitude, the sky is the limit.

**A Heartfelt Thank You**
Reflecting on their journey, Brester offered a message of gratitude on behalf of the senior leadership:

*"A huge thank you to **Coach Perry** for always being in our corner. Your belief in our leadership over these four years has shaped the people we are today. To the young girls watching us: Put in the work, stay true to your values, and don't let anyone put you in a box. If you want it, go get it—the work will always speak for itself."*

**Game Details**
The Sarasota community is invited to witness the Rams’ "Big Three" in their final high school basketball appearance this Tuesday at **St. Stephen’s Episcopal School** in Bradenton.

* **Tip-off:** 6:00 PM (Girls All-Star Game)
* **Location:** St. Stephen’s Gym, 315 41st St W, Bradenton
* **Events:** Three-point contest to follow, featuring top area sharpshooters.
* **Admission:** $10 cash for adults / $5 for students.

For Jadyn, Gabi, and Madie, Tuesday’s game is more than just a final box score; it is a celebration of a legacy built on grit, intellect, and the proof that for a Riverview Ram, excellence is a team sport.

**Go Rams! 🐏🏀🏐**

Jadyn Brester is currently redefining what it means to be a "dual-threat" athlete as she leads Riverview Basketball on a historic run toward the State Championships. While many elite athletes specialize in one sport by their senior year, Jadyn’s ability to dominate two completely different arenas—volleyball and basketball—has made her one of the most compelling stories in Florida high school sports this year.

The Powerhouse Duo: Net Dominance Meets Hardwood Grit
Jadyn’s senior year has been a masterclass in athletic transition. She didn't just participate in two sports; she performed at an elite level in both, proving that her competitive drive and physical tools are universal.

1. Volleyball: The D2-Bound Powerhouse
Before the first tip-off of the basketball season, Jadyn had already cemented her legacy on the volleyball court.

State-Level Production: She finished her final season ranked #45 in all of Florida (Class 7A) for total kills, a testament to her offensive volume and power.

The Ultimate Recognition: Her dominance was made official when she was named the Sarasota Herald-Tribune Athlete of the Week for Volleyball, beating out the best players in the region.

The Next Level: In December, she officially committed to play Division II volleyball for Lees-McRae College, signing as a premier pin hitter.

2. Basketball: The State Championship Push
With virtually no recovery time, Jadyn traded her knee pads for high-tops and immediately transformed Riverview’s basketball identity.

The Rebounding Machine: She currently leads the Rams with 9.7 rebounds per game, ranking 102nd in the entire state of Florida. Her ability to control the glass has been the engine behind Riverview’s current eight-game winning streak.

Clutch Under Pressure: In the recent 7A-Region 3 quarterfinal, Jadyn delivered the "shot heard 'round the region"—an offensive rebound and putback with only 10 seconds left to secure a 49-48 upset win over Palm Harbor University.

Defensive Anchor: Beyond the scoring, her defensive versatility allows her to guard multiple positions, helping the Rams hold opponents in check as they advance deeper into the state playoffs.

The "Total Package" Legacy
What makes Jadyn's dual-sport run even more impressive is her performance off the court. She is balancing this deep state playoff run with the rigors of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program and a 4.8 weighted GPA.

As Riverview prepares for the regional semifinals in Winter Haven, Jadyn stands on the verge of a rare achievement: being a Herald-Tribune Athlete of the Week in two different sports in the same school year. She is the ultimate example of an athlete who doesn't just play the game—she changes the outcome.

THE CLUTCH GENE: Jadyn Brester’s Heroics Earn Herald-Tribune Athlete of the Week Nomination

SARASOTA, FL – Just days after delivering one of the most memorable plays in Riverview basketball history, senior standout Jadyn Brester has been officially nominated for the Herald-Tribune Girls Athlete of the Week for February 9-14.
The nomination comes on the heels of an unforgettable performance in the Class 7A-Region 3 quarterfinals, proving once again that Brester is a rare athlete capable of dominating no matter the sport or the stakes.

A Quarterfinal to Remember
The spotlight found Brester in the closing seconds of Riverview’s 49-48 upset victory over Palm Harbor University (PHU). Entering the game as the underdogs after a 25-point loss to the Hurricanes just a month prior, the Rams found themselves trailing late in the fourth quarter.
With 12 seconds remaining and the Rams down by one, Gabriela Morales was fouled on a fast break following a critical steal. When both free throws were missed, the season appeared to be slipping away—until Brester intervened. Fighting through the paint, Brester secured the offensive rebound and executed a clinical putback to give Riverview the lead with only 10 seconds left on the clock.
"I just knew I had to get the rebound and honestly just had to put it up there," Brester said of the game-winning sequence. "I knew if I at least took a shot we had a chance".

Defensive Grit
Beyond the game-winning bucket, Brester was instrumental in a defensive game plan designed to neutralize PHU’s 6-5 center, Leah Barker. Under the direction of Coach Gerald Perry, the Rams focused on taking away Barker’s right shoulder, forcing the left-handed center into difficult reverse pivots. While Barker finished with 24 points, the collective defensive effort led by veterans like Brester kept the Hurricanes from pulling away, allowing the Rams to secure their eighth straight victory.

From the Net to the Hoop
What makes Brester’s recent success even more remarkable is the context of her senior year. Having just concluded an elite volleyball season as one of Florida’s top 50 attackers in Class 7A, Brester pivoted immediately to her fourth season of varsity basketball with no time for rest. This seamless transition from high-volume volleyball hitter to playoff basketball hero is a testament to her athletic conditioning and mental toughness.

How to Vote
Fans can support Jadyn Brester by voting in the Herald-Tribune Girls Athlete of the Week poll. Her nomination is a well-deserved recognition of a senior season defined by versatility, leadership, and a "clutch gene" that has the Lady Rams dreaming of a deep playoff run.
Riverview (17-6) will now carry this momentum—and Jadyn’s hot hand—into the regional semifinals against Winter Haven.

Brester Commits to Lees-McRae College to Pursue Elite Volleyball and Business Goals

SARASOTA, FL – Riverview High School senior and recent Herald-Tribune Athlete of the Week, Jadyn Brester, officially signed her commitment documents on Tuesday, November 12th, to join the NCAA Division II women's volleyball program at Lees-McRae College (LMC).

Brester, a powerful 5'11" Outside Hitter, chose the rigorous route, emphasizing her desire for the highest level of competitive challenge. She will compete in the prestigious Conference Carolinas as part of the Class of 2026.

A Commitment to Character and Competitive Excellence

"Jadyn made this decision because she is driven by the highest challenge and felt the competitive environment of Lees-McRae matched her 'all-out' mentality,".

Her dedication was highlighted by her coaches during the signing ceremony:

Volleyball Coach Jason's Mocherman: "Jadyn is a multi-sport athlete, and the commitment she made to make herself a better player is what sets her apart. She's a no-nonsense player with a single purpose: to get better. I appreciate her hard work EVERYDAY!! She is fully prepared for the rigor of the next level. Super proud of her"

Basketball Head Coach Gerald Perry: "I've had the honor to have Jadyn on Varsity for three years, and this will be the fourth year in a row. She has been an inspiration to our ENTIRE RAMS sports program. Her dedication, leadership, and positive mindset is what it means to be a Lady Ram. I honestly think she should get a basketball scholarship too. Your Hard work and heart make us all proud".

Academics and Long-Term Goals

Brester plans to enroll in the LMC College with a focus on Business and Marketing with the long-term goal of obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA). She will enter LMC with a Academic Merit Scholarship, ensuring a strong foundation for her future studies.

Brester officially signed her commitment documents on Tuesday, November 12th, in the Riverview Performing Arts Center, marking the beginning of her collegiate career as a Lady Bobcat.

A Season of Power and Versatility: Jadyn Brester Senior Year Cements Her Path to the Next Level

SARASOTA – In a season of tough competition, the Riverview Rams' offense was often defined by its power and grit. No player embodied that combination more than senior pin hitter Jadyn Brester, whose formidable presence at the net and team-first mentality were cornerstones of the Rams' play all year.

This season was a true test of Brester’s versatility. While a natural and powerful outside hitter, she was called upon by the coaching staff to take on the demanding role of a right-side hitter (Opposite) during critical stretches of the season. This switch, one of the most difficult transitions in volleyball, showcased Brester’s coachability and unwavering commitment to doing whatever the team needed to win.

Statistically, Brester was one of the region's leading attackers. Across her junior and senior campaigns, she amassed over 260 kills, placing her among the top offensive players in the challenging Class 7A. In her senior season alone, she ranked #45 in all of Florida's 7A for total kills and #6 within her competitive district, confirming her status as an elite-level talent.

Brester’s biggest impact was often felt on the defensive side of the ball. As one of the team's most disciplined and effective blockers, she was consistently tasked with slowing down the opponent's top-scoring outside hitters. Her ability to read the play, set a strong block, and disrupt the other team's offense was a critical, and often unsung, part of the Rams' defensive identity.

A product of the elite OTVA club program, Brester plays with a level of power and aggressiveness that sets her apart. She possesses a no-hesitation, high-contact swing, trained to score against the biggest and best blocks in the state. It’s this aggressive, next-level mindset that defined her play, as she never shied away from taking the critical swing in a high-pressure moment.

Her athletic contributions to Riverview are far from over. With no time for rest, the senior standout will immediately pivot to her next season, trading her court shoes for high-tops as she joins the Rams' varsity basketball team, where she is also a four-year varsity player.

That combination of power, experience, and multi-sport dedication has been recognized at the highest levels. Brester's hard work has paved the way for her to continue her academic and athletic career at the collegiate level, with an official announcement expected soon.

While her time in a Rams jersey is over, Brester's season will be remembered for her powerful swing, her defensive tenacity, and, above all, her willingness to sacrifice for her team. The Rams will have a tough time filling the gap she leaves, but one lucky college program is gaining a player built for the challenges of the next level.

Ram Powerhouse: Jadyn Brester Nets S-HT Athlete of the Week, Leads District with Elite Academic and Athletic Stats

SARASOTA, FL—The Riverview High School community is buzzing with pride this week, celebrating not only athletic prowess but also academic excellence as senior standout Jadyn Brester has been named the Sarasota Herald-Tribune Girls Athlete of the Week. Brester won the fan poll for the period of September 22–27, earning 37.46% of the total vote to claim the prestigious local recognition.

The latest award comes on the heels of a dominant stretch for the Rams, where Brester's all-around offensive and defensive contributions proved pivotal. As a versatile hitter, her season stats are remarkable: she has smashed 136 Kills—ranking her No. 4 in 7A District 12 and No. 45 in the entire 7A classification—and boasts a .155 Hitting Percentage, which places her No. 5 in District 12. Furthermore, her defensive impact is clear with 67 Digs and 15 Total Blocks, far exceeding the national average for high school volleyball players. Photos from the recent match against Venice show Brester’s powerful swing attempting to pierce the Indians’ block , a perfect snapshot of the senior’s high-impact style that earned her the community's votes.

With this significant honor, Brester enters an elite circle of Ram volleyball athletes. This win marks the first time a Riverview volleyball player has claimed the award in approximately two years, succeeding the program's last honoree, Camryn Bliss, who won in September 2023. Brester’s name now stands alongside a highly select group of Riverview champions, leaders like Camryn Bliss, Jaden Saccoccia, and the multi-time winner Madison Krchnir, who have previously set the standard for excellence on the court. This award is a testament to Brester’s statistical dominance and the continued success of the Ram program.

Beyond her athletic achievements, Brester embodies the true spirit of a student-athlete. Maintaining an impressive 4.7 GPA, she tackles rigorous coursework, including AP World History and AP Human Geography, alongside multiple Honors classes in English, Math, Spanish, and Science. Her commitment to excellence extends off the court, earning her a place in the National Honor Society and multiple Scholar Athlete Awards across volleyball, basketball, and beach volleyball—a testament to her consistently high academic performance.

As the Lady Rams navigate the competitive district schedule and push toward the postseason, Brester’s leadership, both on and off the court, will be key. The entire Riverview community extends its heartfelt congratulations to Jadyn Brester on this well-deserved recognition—Ram Nation is proud to have its name back atop the S-HT Athlete of the Week list!
