HOUSING MARKET SHOWS MORE SIGNS OF 'LEVELING OUT' IN SARASOTA-MANATEE

For the second month in a row, the months' supply of inventory for single-family homes is at a supply of 2 months or more in Sarasota and Manatee counties. According to data from Florida REALTORS® and complied by the REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM), the housing market in August showed a decrease in sales and a rise in the median number of days from listing date to contract.

Where Have All the Houses Gone?

Typical issue here in paradise........For those of you "Up North" who think we have it so easy in Florida, I want to tell you that it was only 62 this morning. And drizzling.

I had to get a jacket! I had to decide between my Tampa Bay Lightning Stanley Cup Champions jacket, my Tampa Bay Rays American League Champions jacket or my Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl Champions jacket!

By the time I made my decision, it had warmed up to 74, and I didn't need the jacket anymore.

Too much stress. I'm headed to a beach bar.
