Can I tell you a little story? 🌴

I grew up in Brooklyn, New York. Loud, fast, electric the kind of place that gets into your blood and never really leaves. I loved it. It shaped me. It made me who I am.

But life had a different plan for me over time, my journey led me from Brooklyn to Central Florida, and eventually to Southwest Florida, where I finally felt like I had found home. 🌴

And honestly? Best journey of my life. 💛

I remember asking myself along the way will I fit in? Will I miss the city too much? Will this actually feel like home?

Here’s what I found: Southwest Florida is one of the most warm, welcoming, beautiful places in the world. The sunsets. The beaches. The community. The pace of life that reminds you what living is actually FOR.

And now when I help clients relocate here especially those moving from up north I get it on a deeply personal level. I know the questions you’re asking because I asked them too. I know the fears because I felt them too.

What is EARNEST MONEY?
Earnest money is your good faith deposit it’s the amount you put down when you make an offer on a home to show the seller you are serious about buying. Think of it as your way of saying “I mean business.”
Here’s what you need to know in Southwest Florida:
-Typically 1–3% of the purchase price
-It goes into escrow — not directly to the seller
-It gets applied toward your down payment or closing costs at closing
-If the deal falls through for a valid reason, you usually get it back
-If YOU back out without a valid reason — you could lose it
