Local expert pins Laurel Meadows flooding on a break in a Sarasota County d**e. 84 of 86 homes were flooded. How about the floods of 1992 where areas flooded because the County let a 24" drain pipe be installed by a developer instead of the required 48" pipe. The County tends to brush these things off as a 100-year flood event ;)

Manatee County warns residents about King tides between November 15th to the 20th. We assume the same would hold true for Sarasota County. Coastal flooding is possible with these King tides.
