The pandemic pushed mortgage rates lower in 2020 and kept doing so this first week of 2021. The 30-year, fixed-rate is down from last week’s 2.67% and last year’s 3.64%.

It’s only a slight drop from last week’s 2.72%, but it’s enough to break another record. One year ago, the rate for a 30-year mortgage loan averaged 3.68%.

I am so proud of our Leadership Sarasota Class of 2020!
Our first on site work day was on March 7th, just before everything started to shut down. It took an incredible amount of work (special shout out to Kaitlin Yelle, Kim Chavers, Peggy Kronus and Willis Smith) to get us to today, but seeing the joy the kids had as they experienced their new sensory garden was so worth it!!
