Cleary Realtor®, GRI, SFR, CDPE came to Sarasota from Cleveland, Ohio at the age of two. He graduated from Riverview High School where he was a member of the internationally famous “Kiltie Band”. Joe attended Western Carolina University in North Carolina where he graduated with a degree in Business Management. Joe was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity and ultimately President of that fra
ternity. Upon graduation, Joe joined Walgreens Drug Stores in their management training program. After four and a half years with Walgreens he decided to join The Cleary Group in real estate sales. His adeptness with computer technology enables The Cleary Group to provide many special services to their client base. Joe’s firm commitment to success and excellent follow-thru has enabled his clients to realize their goals in the sale or purchase of real estate. He has become a very successful real estate Broker-Associate and especially enjoys working with his wife, Missy. Missy Page Cleary Realtor®, CDPE, SFR moved with her family to Sarasota in 1982 from Lansing, Michigan. She was a member of the Sarasota YMCA Sharks for 6 years where she competed nationally. Upon graduation she attended Florida State University graduating Cum Laude with Bachelor and Master degrees in Special Education. Missy returned to Sarasota to start a career and a family and spent the next ten years in the Sarasota County Public Schools where she taught Emotionally Handicapped students. Throughout her career with Sarasota County Public Schools Missy was always a leader at each of her schools. In addition she has done extensive new teacher training and staff development nationally and throughout Sarasota County. Missy met Joe in May 2000 when Joe helped Missy with the purchase of her home. Joe and Missy were married in June of 2001 and have two sons, Tyler and Carter. Missy is excited to be a part of this family business and has a wonderful approach to working with buyers. Her experience in teaching helps her to explain and clarify items in an easy to understand way. She most of all enjoys making people happy with a purchase or sale of their home. Joe and Missy are very active in the Sarasota community. Their service includes Kiwanis membership Brookside Middle School and Southside Elementary School Advisory Councils, Southside FBI (Fathers Being Involved), Riverview High School Foundation Board Members, canned food drives for local food banks. Joe and Missy are proud to consistently be among the top 5% of all Realtors in Sarasota. They achieved RE/MAX’s esteemed Hall of Fame and Platinum Club status. They truly love what they do and are “living the dream” in Sarasota paradise.
