I often think that the conclusions from this type of survey are nonsense, but in this case they appear to have gotten it right. We live just nine miles from downtown Venice, and over the past twenty years we have seen it mature into a more sophisticated and appealing community. It is still a small beach town, but it now offers most of the amenities that are expected in a larger city. If we ever relocate within the Sarasota metro area, we will probably move to Venice.

The city of Venice, Florida is lauded for its lively streets and entertainment options, as appeal widens beyond snowbirds.
