m a wife, a biological mama of 2 wonderful young adults and 2 other young adult daughters that God sent to us in 2015 and 2017, and have been a mom to many foster children in the past. I am a Christian and God is always 1st! All of my adult career involves real estate. It's my passion, and I absolutely love it! At an early age, my husband and I knew we wanted to be in the real estate business. He was great with any type of construction and I've always loved numbers, buying and selling anything, and home decorating. In 1999, we bought our 1st home, then soon after, in 2000, we bought our 1st investment home that we bought, remodeled (ourselves), then shortly resold for a great profit. I told my husband to quit his "real" job plumbing, because we were going to buy and sell houses for a living! Since then, we have bought, remodeled, leased, and sold many of our own investment homes in GA, NC, & FL, along with buying a few homes for our family to live in and a 2nd/vacation home. Therefore, we have been the 1st time home-buyer, the 2nd home or vacation home-buyer, and the investor..."been there, done that" in real estate! Along with buying and selling many homes for ourselves, we both were also successful Realtors and mortgage brokers in the Marco Island & Naples, FL area some years ago. When the market crashed, we went back "home" to NC, but couldn't shake our desire to get back to where our hearts and passions are...in Florida and doing real estate again!!! Once returning to Florida (this time to the Sarasota/Siesta Key, FL area), I was blessed to be able to be one of the top selling agents for Starwood Waypoint (formerly Waypoint Homes and then merged with Colony Homes), which is the second-largest public institutional-landlord REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) in the nation. I started just after they opened their doors in the Tampa, FL area in Jan of 2013 and sold to them until they merged in Jan of 2016, at which they stopped buying at that time. Just in the year 2014, I dominated in sales of 70 properties and had a very high volume of sales in the other 2 years, as well; both off-market and mls listings. Along with selling real estate to/for individuals like you, I continue to invest in real estate, as before; buying, remodeling and selling for a profit. When "it's in your blood," it's what you do! :) I have a keen eye for a good real estate deal and love working with investors to find their next money-maker and even home-buyers who just want to know they are making the right decision when purchasing a home, whether it's their 1st, 10th or last.
