Some real estate stories take a little longer to come full circle. ❤️
I first met Bill and Georgia in 2024 after they called me from a postcard I had mailed. I sat with them in their beautiful home and listened to stories about the house, their lives, and the memories they had made there.
Months later, I was sitting at a campground in Nashville with my mom when Bill called. They had decided to stay put. Finding the right smaller home felt nearly impossible in that market, and moving just wasn’t the right decision anymore.
But that’s not where our story ended.
I kept in touch. Phone calls, check-ins, conversations about life. Somewhere along the way, Bill and Georgia became more than potential clients. I genuinely grew to care about them and what was best for their next chapter.
Then, earlier this year, my phone rang.
“Linda, we’re moving into an apartment. We need to sell the house, and we want you to do it for us.”
I knew immediately what a privilege that was.
From the first time I stepped inside 12 Stillwood, I thought one thing: wow factor. The soaring vaulted ceilings, beautiful natural light, thoughtful upgrades, and incredibly unique design made this home special. I also knew it wasn’t going to be the right house for everyone. We needed the buyer who would walk in and appreciate exactly what made it different.
And eventually, that’s exactly who came along. ❤️
Today, 12 Stillwood officially closed.
After closing, I stopped by to visit Bill and Georgia and gave them a book filled with the high resolution photographs I had taken of their home. Selling a house doesn’t mean the memories made there disappear, and I wanted them to have something tangible to look back on for years to come.
I’m incredibly honored that they trusted me with a home that meant so much to them and with such an important transition in their lives.
The house may be sold, but I have a feeling my phone calls with Bill, and all of his stories, will continue for a long time. ✨
