#2 LINE: Utilizing solid lines in a room can really help to define it’s shapes and spaces. There are three types of lines– horizontal, vertical and angular.
1) Horizontal lines are found on pieces like tables, chairs and beds and help to create a feeling of structure and comfort.
2 Vertical lines are found on structures like windows and doorways and help to create a feeling of openness and freedom.
3) Angular lines are found in structures like ceilings and staircases and help to create action or drama in the space. oriented add drama and can be seen on structures like stairs.
