Today I am sad.

I'm not where I want to be right now — not physically, not financially. Physically, I’m not with my beautiful Inner Circle family in Texas right now.

Why? Because this year has been brutal as a business owner.

Am I okay? Not today.
Will I be okay? Yes.
Will things improve? Yes, I believe they will.
But right now... it’s just hard.

Rather than keep this real part of me to myself today, I felt that someone needed to hear it and to be told - it's ok to not be ok today.

Do I need to hear "it’s all going to be fine" or "just look on the bright side"? Nope. Not today.

Instead, I’ll be crawling into my blanket fort, coloring like a 5-year-old who just found the crayon box of dreams. And yes, I’ll be hanging out with both Ben and Jerry for a while. They get me.

If you’re struggling, please know you’re not alone. Social media can make it seem like everyone’s thriving and living their best life, but many of us have hard days that never get posted.

It’s healthy to admit when you’re not doing well, rather than to put on a brave face for appearances. Life can be both beautiful AND overwhelming at the same time. (Hello - LIFE!)

So, if you need support, talk to someone. It’s okay not to be okay. And it’s also okay to have a blanket fort and a little ice cream party while you work and wait for things to get better.

I'll grab the crayons.

💥 How could I not see it, when it was RIGHT in front of me?💥

Even after 13 years, I’m still learning new things about the Fascinate system – and yesterday I had a HUGE revelation! 🤯✨

It all started at The National Association of REALTORS annual convention in Orlando, 2011, when I first “met” the amazing Sally Hogshead as she captivated us with her keynote on "How to Fascinate." I was mesmerized, hooked instantly. 🎤📖 I bought the book, took the Fascinate Advantage Assessment, and immediately began sharing this brilliance with every real estate agent who took courses from me. It can be VERY tough to learn how to truly stand out in a crowded, competitive and comodetized marketplace. THIS book was the answer for me!!

Then in 2018, I became a Certified Fascinate Advisor. Since then, I’ve LOVED elevating my ability to help individuals and organizations uncover their unique Advantages – the way the world sees them.

And here’s the crazy part... I’ve taken the Assessment 7 times! 🎯 6 of those times, my Primary Advantage was Prestige – the language of raising the bar 📈. My Secondary Advantage? Power – influence and confidence in action. ⚡️

As of today, I begin my 3 year service on the National Speakers Association Chapter Leadership Council (CLC)!!

The mission of the Chapter Leadership Council is to mentor NSA Chapter Leaders - providing support, ideas and tools to help them thrive. We support all NSA Chapters throughout the United States and position them to become the "must join" organization for professional seekers in their respective communities. We support, educate and encourage current and future NSA Chapter leaders in six key areas that are essential to leading a growing non-profit association.
