Happy National Dog Day!

I’m so thankful for Alfred & Dottie. They bring so much joy to my life.

Alfred was the first dog that was MY dog. Batman’s butler. My unlicensed Real Estate Associate Barker and business associate. He is the sweetest kindest boy who thinks he’s 20x his size and is ready to be loyal and defend his family fiercely. He’s been there for me through some of the hardest times and was there for us during COVID. I love our morning meditations and all his kisses.

Dottie is our wild child. She’s sassy and will always tell you what’s on her mind. She loves hard too, but with a little nip and a grumble. We haven’t gotten to know her nearly as long, but I’m looking forward to seeing how she grows and how her and Alfred grow together.

I am very thankful to have gotten connected to this seller from a family member of theirs and some long time friends of mine who have supported me throughout my career (even from the very beginning). This was a very special home for them and they felt that it wasn’t getting the attention it deserved. We placed it on the market and were able to get it under contract very quickly - with the perfect buyer!
There were some unique obstacles that came up, but we were able to work together as a team and get them taken care of one by one. Selling a home that means this much with all of the memories made there is never easy…
It meant a lot to be able to represent my client and help guide/support them through this transaction. Congratulations to my clients on the purchase of their new home!!! 😊

Have you ever meet someone and just knew right away they were good people? This is exactly what happened when I met my clients and their family. They are some of the kindest, hardworking, and loving people out there. They always respected me and my time and always expressed how thankful they were (even when it was something basic that I was providing). I am truly thankful for THEM. They are so deserving of this home and beautiful property. It was an honor and pleasure to help with their home search and guide them through the purchase process. They were always on top of everything and trusted me every step of the way. I am incredibly thankful for the referral. I not only gained a client, but also friends and a brother.

There is a sense of home that isn’t confined to four walls or a key to a door. It’s something within and it’s something that this family already had. Home truly is where the heart is ❤️

On a personal note…this was special for me. I remember being a kid and wanting to live in a real house. I wanted a dog (Scottish Terrier to be specific…) to call my own. I’ve been able to do that at the age of 34 (with the help of others). There was something therapeutic about being able to help one of my clients (and Masonic brother) achieve the same landmark at the same age. To bring this experience to a higher level, I was also able to see his son pick out his own room and heard he is talking about getting a dog...
Through this process my inner child healed a bit…

It makes me so happy to see this happen in a world flooded with negative headlines.
It made me feel valuable as a person, and provided me a sense of meaning that I had been searching for in an industry that shouts about production, sales, numbers, and statistics from the rooftops…
