Recently, Rebekah O’Neil and I had the privilege of stopping by Jezreel International (JZRL) this week to deliver coats, hats, and warm winter gear collected by GCAR’s Community Relations Committee. Realtors from all over the Capital District showed up in such a generous way — and seeing those donations fill the space was truly heartwarming.

🌎For those who may not know, Jezreel International is an Albany-based 501(c)(3) humanitarian aid organization that has been serving both our local community and people around the world since 1996.

They ship critical supplies — medical equipment, clothing, food, hygiene products, and more — to over 40 nations. Right here at home, they support shelters, rehab facilities, food pantries, and so many in need. 🥫🧢🧤🧣🧦

🇺🇸They also founded the Veterans Miracle Center, where veterans can shop for everyday essentials at no cost in a dignified, retail-style setting.

What I love most is that this is a place where you can see the impact. And they are always looking for volunteers to help sort donations and keep everything moving. (Teenagers can get their school volunteer hours there as well-simply stop by during their open volunteer hours.)

If you’ve been looking for a hands-on way to give back locally, this is such a meaningful opportunity.

A little over 30 minutes from Saratoga-I think this place could be something special for the community as it once was as a neighborhood church.
