America’s oldest continuously operating coffeehouse recently celebrated their 63rd anniversary, and what better time to highlight the years-long journey to the world-class venue Caffè Lena is today.

Over breakfast at the Country Corner Cafe, conversations began about how to expand occupancy while maintaining all of the original character that enhances the experience of live performing artists.

We partnered with Bonacio Construction and together embarked on a $2 million renovation project fulfilling Caffè Lena’s needs, including an updated kitchen, new administrative suite, and making their second-floor performance space handicap-accessible.

Since the remodel, Caffè Lena has been revitalized and we are especially grateful that this American treasure is an integral part of our community.

Requirements
- minimum of 5 years of experience in construction documentation for both residential and commercial buildings
- thorough knowledge of construction detailing and code requirements
- proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office
- valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- comfortable working without direct supervision

Responsibilities
- field measurements, code analysis, specifications, design development drawings, and construction documents
- participation in project meetings and discussions
