Great News! All the equipment has finally arrived. I’m meeting with the General contractor on Monday to get a new construction timeline. We will be reaching to the staff members as soon as we have more defined timeline.

Fazolis update: Good evening. I’d like to express my appreciation to all of you for the kind words and excitement as we bring Fazolis back to Utah.

Here’s a quick update.

1. The delay has been to some equipment issues. Once it all comes in, we can pick back up on construction.

This has been a huge learning experience for us. We know which equipment needs to be ordered first based off lead times.

2. I did not loose my financial backer. I’ve been funding this from the start. I did have a business partner who decided to go another route.

3. Fazolis is not closing down. I have a contract to bring 20 locations to Utah.

4. We are always looking for staff from entry level to mangers.

We have had a few delays due to construction delays, equipment, delays, and still needing to hire a few lead employees. We are still looking for a few of the following.

1- AGM for Fazoli's - starting pay between $18-$20, dependent on experience
Requirements:
Previous management experience in the food industry (2 years preferred)
Open availability
Ability to lift at least 20 lbs

2- Shift Lead for Fazoli's - starting pay between $16-$18, dependent on experience
Requirements:
Previous lead experience in the food industry
Open availability
Ability to lift at least 20 lbs

Progress remains ongoing. Our equipment, however, is facing a delay of approximately 6-7 weeks. We are actively pursuing alternative manufacturers at this time. Additional information will be shared soon.

The past couple weeks have been amazing. Miss Kitty has been an AGM and Training Manager for many years for Fazoli’s here in Illinois. The amount of care and passion she puts into her work is so incredible.

I have been learning all the operational duties, food preparation, customer service, food presentation and cleaning standards “Kitty’s”, way. She knows Fazolis standard inside and out.

There’s so much that goes into each dish that is served. Hours of prep work and cleaning every day and this is before the store opens. To have fresh, Italian food provided in a timely manner is going to awesome.

Please also bring your food handlers permit, if you have one, to the interview to expedite the process.
