❗Home Warranty Scam❗

Members have reported receiving official-looking home warranty notices containing a check or voucher. These mailings may use urgent language, claim that your home warranty is expiring, or ask you to call immediately.

Please remember:

# Do not deposit or cash an unexpected check.
# Do not call the phone number listed on the notice.
# Never provide personal, banking, or debit card information.
# Contact your mortgage lender or home warranty provider directly using a trusted phone number.
# If you are uncertain, bring the notice to any Soo Co-op Credit Union office before responding.

Scammers often use public information—such as your name, address, or mortgage lender—to make a mailing appear legitimate. Stay vigilant, pause before acting, and help protect others by sharing this warning.

If you believe you have responded to a scam or shared financial information, contact Soo Co-op Credit Union immediately.

All townships!

Monday, September 14th is the final day to pay Summer Property Taxes before Interest and Penalties apply. The Treasurer, Amy Eddy, will be in the hall from 9am - 5pm to collect taxes that day.

Residents are always able to pay online at superiortownship.com or over the phone by calling 906-242-2355. For either of these options the parcel number is required.

There are also two drop boxes located inside the hall that are available 24/7. One is located immediately to the right upon entering the townhall. The second is up the stairs to the right of the window into the office.
