This is a MVEC electric company question for those of you who have them for your provider and not the cities electric.

I have a questions about MVEC's Energy wise program. If I put in an electric garage heater of the required wattage and following their guidlines for getting the second meter installed, can I pay ANY electric garage heater or does it have to be the one on their website?? The garage is a three-car and oversized and I don't think the one on their site would be adequate.

Also, if I do have a high-effeciency new ac unit at the home (14 seer) that was never put on the energywise program, can I add that to the second half-price meter as well at this time?? I beleive it would qualify otherwise as long as we are OK with their control during high-use periods, the home stays very cool all the time anyhow.

We are fostering a 1 1/2 yo cattle dog pup who is looking for his furever home! This is Cole, he was found as a stray in Oklahoma but brought up here to MN for a better chance of adoption.

Cole has been with us for a month and it is pretty clear he has had a home and family before. He has never had an accident in our house, knows sit, and is keen to learn more, and does well with other dogs.
He is playful and can be rambunctious after he comes in from playing outside or after being in the kennel for a few hours but also can be very chill a lot of the day and is a REALLY good sleeper, with no need for midnight potty calls.

Cole would love a home with another younger pup to play with, a girl or more confident dog would be good, and/or an active family or home where he can be a jogging partner or play in the yard with the kiddos to use up some puppy energy. Kids 8 and older only, he can knock over little kids with his playing and is still a puppy that needs to have a more mature youngster that can understand this.

He is fine in the kennel for up to four hours, but I don't think it would be good for him to be in a kennel all day or much more than that.

He is very cuddly and sweet and will want to be by you or on your lap if you are just watching tv. I work from home and he is fine hanging on a doggy bed for a while too and just chilling with the rest of our much older pups. We took him to our local brewery with one of our older dogs, and he did fantastic! Quiet and calm and said a nice hello to a few folks who stopped by, he did try to get in one guy's lap, but he is still a puppy and that guy was very cool about it... :-)

He is a SUPER smart little boy and very food-motivated, so he would be great for someone looking for a dog that can be trained to do agility or some other doggie sport. He does great with our 6' fence and has good recall even when is at the far back of our yard.
