I recently had the privilege to put together two families together to accomplish one goal. The stars seemed to align, having worked with one acquaintance for years to find a “grand dame” of a home in need of renovation and love, and the others, old friends who have chosen to start a new chapter abroad. It was just coincidence that the Grand Dame that the one was searching for happened to be a home I was house sitting...putting the ball in motion in the most TEDIOUS game of real estate “Jenga” I have ever attempted. It was not easy.
And to celebrate the memories that each made in their respective homes, I commissioned at to masterfully render paintings of their homes...artistic pieces to celebrate those memories, those years, those lives.
I was honored to be a part of this “connecting of the dots”.
Shannon relies on this commissions to assist her living expenses, and I hope she does not mind me adding that, she creates these masterpieces all while maneuvering rheumatoid arthritis that she was diagnosed with many years ago at 16.
