This recently photographed SHM Cowart Studio residence celebrates the charm of Southern architecture with a modern twist. The main house anchors the design with its warm hand split cedar façade, deep overhangs, and inviting front porch framed by tapered columns. A steep gabled add character while maximizing natural light.
The detached three-car garage mirrors the home’s architectural language, featuring carriage-style doors and a matching roof pitch for visual harmony. To the right, a cozy guest cottage offers privacy and comfort, complete with its own porch for enjoying serene views of the surrounding landscape.
Natural materials, earthy tones, and lush native plantings create a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living—perfect for a coastal setting.
