If you are self employed and looking to purchase this year.

1. Let your tax preparer know you are interested in purchasing property.
2.You will need two years of self employment tax return.
3. Dont write off too much of your income, lenders need to see your net income to qualify for purchasing.
4. If you do write off too much of your income, lenders can use bank statements.
