I’m excited to share that I’m adding another role to my real estate career: Instructor at Urban Tide Xchange, a new real estate school in Savannah.

And I do mean adding. I’ll continue running my real estate business and working with buyers and sellers as a Realtor and Associate Broker. I’m not changing careers—I’m bringing two of mine together.

Before entering real estate, I spent 20 years teaching mathematics and earned my Master’s degree in Mathematics Education. Teaching has always been something I’ve enjoyed, and now I have the opportunity to combine that background with nearly 10 years of hands-on real estate experience.

I think some of the best real estate education comes from taking what happens in the real world and bringing it into the classroom—what works, what doesn’t, and what you sometimes learn the hard way.

So I’d love some input from my fellow real estate professionals:

What class would you actually like to see offered?

What do you wish you’d learned earlier in your career? What topic could you use more practical training on today?
