Buyers have more negotiating power right now than you might think.

I’m seeing buyers successfully negotiate things like closing cost contributions, repairs, purchase price, appliances, and even other terms that can make the deal work better for them.

Does that mean every seller is going to say yes? Absolutely not.

But it does mean we’re in a market where it’s worth asking , and knowing what to ask for, when to ask for it, and how to structure the offer matters.

The list price is only one part of the negotiation. 😉

I came across this quote today, and it immediately made me think about real estate.

This business requires resilience. It requires showing up every day, even when the results aren’t immediate. It requires trusting the process, staying consistent, learning from setbacks, and believing in yourself when things feel uncertain.

What keeps me going is remembering why I chose this career in the first place.

I didn’t get into real estate just to sell houses. I got into it because I genuinely enjoy helping people through one of the biggest milestones of their lives. Whether it’s a first-time homebuyer who has spent years saving, a growing family searching for more space, or someone beginning a brand-new chapter, it’s a privilege to be part of that journey.

Every challenge along the way is simply part of the story. Every conversation, every lesson, and every obstacle helps shape the kind of professional I’m becoming.

The destination is important, but so is the person you become while getting there.
