This is the single most relevant concept I’ve encountered during my near 10 year career in real estate. Our homes might be our most substantial financial investment, but they are so much more intimate than a stock portfolio. The range of emotions entangled into the buying and selling of homes is vast and I must be prepared to learn and respond to my clients’ unique circumstances. Despite a previous career in Public Accounting, an Associate Real Estate Broker license, the Certified Buyer Representative (CBR) designation, the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) certification, among other advanced coursework, I’m repeatedly told, both in person and in business reviews, the key feature that drew my clients in was how I made them feel.
