ANNOUNCING - We Found Our Next Mission and We Need Your Help!

Thomas Kelly High School (CPS) music programs have more students than instruments! In the past, students had their own mouthpieces for instruments but shared the instruments themselves. This is no longer feasible during the pandemic.

Additionally, student enrollment in Thomas Kelly High School band and orchestra programs has been growing! There won’t be enough instruments to go around without your help!

The MISSION:
We need donations of used instruments in good condition for Thomas Kelly High School band students! These are the critical needs:
• 4 flutes
• 6 alto saxophones
• 12 trumpets/cornets
• 6 trombones
• 2 baritones/euphoniums
• 2 tubas
• String instruments, including cellos, basses, violins and violas

Bike Swap Event!!

🚴‍♂️ BIKE SWAP EVENT - Rolling Meadows, IL

We're excited to announce our inaugural event! We are holding a bike swap in partnership with the Rolling Meadows Park District during their “Roll N’ Stroll” event on Saturday, May 22nd! This event will happen rain, shine, or snow so bring your all-weather gear and shop for your summer bikes.

If you are interested in selling any bikes please fill out the pre-registration form on our website event page at https://bikesandmusic.org/events/. There is a $10 donation for each bike that you add to our sale. We are also looking for donated bikes that the foundation can sell. If you have a bike you just want to donate, please email us [email protected] so we can schedule a pick-up!

Spunky Dunkers in Palatine needs some help. On Monday, February 22nd, local businesses StartingPoint Realty and law firm Trivedi & Khan are contributing to the cause. We are paying for $1,500 worth of donuts that day. Show up on Monday after 6 am and your donuts (up to a dozen) are paid for while supplies last. The donuts are on us, you buy the coffee. Real Estate has been busy, and restaurants and shops, like this, have not been. Time to pay it forward.
