Townships are in the process of posting their assessments.

This year and going forward, McHenry County properties that are only adjusted by their equalization factor will no longer receive a mailed copy of their assessment. Property owners are encouraged to sign up for email and text alerts to be informed when their township assessments are posted online - you can do so by visiting the Assessments page on the County website.

Property owners may access their assessment by visiting the McHenry County Property Tax Inquiry Portal at https://mchenryil.devnetwedge.com. Assessment notices on computers and tablets can be accessed by clicking the “Property Assessments Notice” link on the right-hand side of your property tax information. On smart phones, the Assessments tab can be found by clicking the three-line “hamburger” icon in the upper right-hand corner.

Remember that your assessment notice is not a property tax bill – your 2026 assessment is used to determine the taxable value of your home for property taxes due next year. The notice also includes information on your existing exemptions, and it lists other available exemptions.

I highly recommend Joanna Cislak! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Joanna created two absolutely beautiful portraits for two separate clients of mine, and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. Her work is incredibly thoughtful, detailed, and truly captures something special.

These portraits made such meaningful and personal gifts for my clients, and they absolutely loved them. ❤️

Thank you, Joanna, for your beautiful work, talent, and attention to detail. I will definitely be using you again and recommending you to others! ❤️
