Spring is here! Which usually means more homes to pick from and with the nicer weather you’ll have a more enjoyable home shopping experience.

Should you buy a home BEFORE or AFTER the baby gets here?

Answer: It depends on your circumstance. Yes, it’s a cop out answer and I’m sorry but we want to keep certain things in mind.

🏡 Home Buying Process:

- Buying a home can be stressful and it can at least 6 weeks to go from Accepted offer to Closing and that’s if everything goes smoothly.

- You’ll need to be present at the showings, in this market it can take time to find the right home. I also recommend going to the home inspection(s) as well.

💰 Does your budget work?

- Factor in home cost such as repairs, moving, furniture, etc.

- Factor in baby cost (diapers, food, clothing, other baby essentials) and time spent with your baby
