The Capital Region Land Bank, which is administered by Schenectady Metroplex, demolished 866 Albany Street last week.

This was a very badly dilapidated property that was condemned earlier this month by the City. We thank Jackson Demolition and Apex Environmental consultants for working with the Land Bank to take this building down. More progress in the fight against blighted properties.

The Capital Region Land Bank was pleased to have NYS Housing Commissioner Visnauskas join us on Congress Street yesterday to unveil a new Cross-Mod home completed by the Land Bank as part of a pilot program that is now going statewide to build more quality, affordable homes.
